Why a Dairy Goats?

Goats are not only adorable, but their milk is actually higher in fat and lower in lactose as compared to cows milk, meaning your body can recognize and use the milk to it's full potential. Goat milk has smaller size fat particles which produce a smaller and softer curd in the stomach. Small, soft curds are more rapidly broken down by stomach enzymes which make goat milk more easily digestible.

On top of the beautiful design of goat's milk, when consumed raw, it still contains the lactase enzyme which is the other half of the lactose enzyme. The lactase is actually what aids in the digestion of the lactose and makes it suitable for the stomach to digest and use. Which makes for very happy tummies!

Why Sourdough?

Sourdough is an amazing ancestral food.  Most folks who have gluten sensitivities find they can tolerate sourdough products just fine! The natural, long fermentation process breaks down the grains (specifically the phytic acid in the grains) and makes them much more easily digestible. Where sourdough contains lower levels of phytate it allows your body to absorb the nutrients it contains more easily than those in modern baked bread. It also has a lower glycemic index which helps stabilize blood sugar instead of skyrocketing it. Not to mention it provides the body with good bacteria that aids in over all health and wellness.
